Jim Washam
President
Jim enjoys helping clients turn their vision into reality, whether it’s a business owner opening their first location, a company expanding into a new space, or a developer creating something from the ground up. For him, construction is ultimately a people business, and the relationships built throughout the process are what make the industry so rewarding. Nothing compares to handing over the keys to a completed project and seeing a client’s excitement. While Jim is proud of the many projects Jacor has completed over the years, he is most proud of the people and relationships built along the way. He values the trust of longtime clients, the partnerships formed with brokers and subcontractors, and the opportunity to work alongside a talented team that continues to grow and succeed. Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Renae, their children, and their growing family. He loves traveling, especially throughout Europe, staying active, meeting new people, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Jim believes life’s greatest rewards come from the relationships we build and the experiences we share.
Renae Washam
Vice President
For more than 17 years, Renae has been an integral part of Jacor’s success, helping guide the company through growth while keeping daily operations running smoothly behind the scenes. As Vice President, she oversees human resources, administrative operations, and just about anything else that needs attention. Known around the office as the person who can handle almost anything, Renae proudly embraces her role as Jacor’s resident ‘jack-of-all-trades’. Working alongside her husband, Jim, and Jacor’s incredible team has been one of the greatest blessings of her life. As a family-owned business, Jacor is especially meaningful because the family also has the privilege of working alongside two of their sons every day. Renae is especially proud of the culture they have built, one rooted in honesty, hard work, teamwork, and treating people the right way. What Renae enjoys most about construction is helping clients bring their vision to life. There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a project evolve from an idea into a finished space that supports a client’s business and future success. When she’s not helping keep Jacor running smoothly, you’ll likely find Renae planning the family’s next travel adventure, making memories with her seven children and her dog, Hank, or finding new ways to fuel her running obsession. If she’s not out chasing miles, there’s a good chance you’ll find her in the garage taking another Peloton class.
Rick Smith
Senior Estimator (Arizona)
With 18 years at Jacor Construction, Rick enjoys helping clients bring their vision to life, from early planning and budgeting to the final stages of construction. He values building strong relationships with clients and brokers and takes pride in helping projects move from concept to completion. Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of projects and believes every build, large or small, is meaningful. For him, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing clients move into their new space and open their doors for business. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, taking road trips to Lake Havasu and San Diego, driving his Camaro, and listening to great music along the way.
Max Washam
General Manager Arizona Office and Senior Estimator (Arizona)
Max enjoys the people-centered side of construction and values the opportunity to work with new clients and help bring their projects to life. Seeing a client excited about the finished product is the most rewarding part of the job for him. One project he is especially proud of is the KGTV Newsroom project, one of his first large-scale and highly detailed builds. The experience became a major steppingstone in his career and helped pave the way for bidding and managing larger projects. Outside of work, Max enjoys playing pickleball, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Emily.
Joe Haisha
Director of Business Development
Joe enjoys seeing projects come together from start to finish and takes pride in delivering spaces that leave clients excited to open their doors and fully utilize the finished product. He especially values building strong relationships within the industry and helping expand Jacor Construction’s partnerships with brokers, new clients, and franchise brands. One of Joe’s proudest accomplishments has been contributing to the continued growth and recognition of Jacor’s services through business development and long-term client relationships. Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing musical instruments.
Jon Washam
Estimator (California)
Jon enjoys the people-focused nature of the construction industry and values the opportunity to meet new people and build lasting connections. For him, one of the most rewarding aspects of the job is the relationships formed along the way and the chance to be part of a team working toward a common goal. One accomplishment Jon is especially proud of is taking the leap into the commercial construction industry and embracing the opportunity to learn and grow within a family business that has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He looks forward to continuing to develop his skills and contribute to the company’s success. Outside of work, Jon enjoys following professional and college sports, trying new foods, and getting lost in a great story, whether it’s on screen or in the pages of a good book.
Mark Pratt
Business Development Manager
With more than four decades in the construction industry, Mark brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for working with people. Having started in the floor covering industry in 1980 and later retiring as a General Foreman Steamfitter from Local 230, he has spent his career building relationships, encouraging others, and supporting people as they pursue their goals. For Mark, the most rewarding part of construction has always been the opportunity to connect with others and contribute to their success. Throughout his career, Mark has been involved in a wide variety of projects, from helping families create spaces for life’s special moments to working on notable facilities such as Disneyland, the Salk Institute, hospitals, and power plants. Each project has offered unique experiences and lasting memories, making it difficult to choose just one as a favorite. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Terry, and their family on their five-acre property, where they care for horses, dogs, cats, and a desert tortoise. They also raise and show Boston Terriers. Mark and Terry are active in their faith, regularly attending church and Bible study groups, and believe in giving glory to God for the many blessings in their lives.
Matthew Weatherford
Director of Operations
Matthew Weatherford serves as Jacor Construction’s Director of Operations and has been an integral part of the company for more than a decade. Having worked in nearly every department along the way, he brings a unique perspective to the business and a deep appreciation for the people, relationships, and teamwork that drive successful projects. What Matthew enjoys most about construction is the variety each day brings. From helping clients bring new ideas to life to solving challenges throughout the construction process, he finds great satisfaction in creating spaces that make a lasting impact on the communities Jacor serves. One of his proudest professional accomplishments was helping lead the rollout of Taco Bell’s Liv Más Café concept, successfully completing seven locations while allowing each store to remain open and operational throughout construction. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys golfing with coworkers and friends, cheering on the Los Angeles Chargers, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Whether it’s a family day at the pool, exploring local parks, or enjoying a movie night at home, those moments are what matter most to him.
Cheri Johnson
Controller
Cheri enjoys the unique opportunity construction provides to learn about a wide variety of businesses and industries. She appreciates seeing new companies grow and develop and enjoys being part of a team that helps bring those projects to life. One of Cheri’s proudest accomplishments is raising two productive, self-sufficient young adults. The dedication, patience, and support that achievement required are values she brings to both her personal and professional life. Outside of work, Cheri enjoys traveling with her husband, making new memories together, and visiting one of her favorite places—Disneyland.
Stacy Ledoux
Project Coordinator
Stacy enjoys being part of a team that transforms ideas and plans into finished spaces. She appreciates the fast-paced, collaborative nature of the construction industry and finds it rewarding to bring people, processes, and priorities together to help projects succeed from start to finish. Rather than pointing to a single project, Stacy is most proud of the relationships she has built throughout her career and the support she has provided to the teams around her. Helping solve problems, navigate challenges, and contribute to successful outcomes is what she finds most fulfilling. Outside of work, Stacy enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, reading, playing board games, and gathering with family and friends. Whenever she has the chance, you’ll find her taking a walk along the beach and enjoying the coastal scenery.
