An existing suite with just a few walls was transformed into a place for children to come learn, play and simply be kids. The interior walls that occupied the space prior were removed during demolition which left only the surrounding walls intact. A new entry and reception area was created in the space as well as: a kitchen, two adult restrooms, two children’s restrooms equipped with ADA compliant child fixtures, four classrooms, four office spaces, a storage room and a utility room. On the south side of the building the ground was leveled and a recycled material resembling a padded foam was installed for outdoor use under the free standing awning.
