Children’s Art Classes
Project Summary
Jacor Construction transformed an existing commercial space into a creative environment designed for children to learn, explore, and create. The project began with a full interior demolition and framing, followed by new plumbing and electrical work, drywall, ceiling improvements, flooring, lighting, and fresh interior finishes.
As the space took shape, the team incorporated details specific to the needs of a children’s art program, including new lighting, a dedicated sink, custom shelving and cabinetry, and a dedicated kiln room. Each phase was carefully coordinated to move the project from an open, unfinished space into a bright, functional environment ready for classes and creative activities.
From the early demolition through the final cabinetry installation and cleaning, Jacor focused on creating a space that is practical for staff and students while supporting the creative experience at the heart of Children’s Art Classes.
The Jacor Way in Action
Children’s Art Classes required more than a standard interior build-out. The project was shaped around the needs of young artists and the instructors who support them, from dedicated art spaces, durable finishes, new lighting, and functional storage. By paying attention to how the space would actually be used, Jacor helped create an environment that is practical, welcoming, and ready for creativity.
Project Highlights
In Progress-
Open Minds Preschool
08-28-26
Open Minds Preschool is continuing to build momentum as the project moves further into the underground infrastructure phase. This week, the team completed the underground sewer work while electrical and irrigation trenching got underway. Temporary power is also now in place, helping prepare the site for the next stages of construction.
With multiple trades working simultaneously, the focus now shifts to continuing underground utility work and coordinating approvals needed to keep additional infrastructure moving forward.
The Jacor Way in Action
A project like Open Minds requires careful coordination between multiple trades, utilities, permits, and approvals. By keeping work moving wherever possible while tracking outstanding items, the team is helping maintain momentum and prepare for the next phase of construction—even while certain approvals are still in progress.
